Personality Item Pool
The International Personality Item Pool is
a public domain list of items to assemble a personality questionnaire. This
version uses 300 items to assess the Big Five personality dimensions:
Neuroticism,
Extraversion, Openness to Experience, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness
It also provides
more detailed information about personality with 6 subscales for each of the
Big Five dimensions. (see IPIP-results
for details).
Although it
requires more questions to obtain information on the subscales, the facets
provide a more detailed and richer description of your personality.
It takes you
probably 30 minutes to answer all 300 items.
When you are done with the survey, it will
automatically provide you with your test results that rely on US American
psychology students as the comparison group. To understand the meaning of the
