The UTM Library GIS & Data Service provides assistance to UTM faculty and students in the use of Geospatial and Numeric datasets and technology. While providing "on campus" access to a plethora of Canadian federal, provincial and municipal datasets (& a growing international collection), the GIS & Data service also works closely with Map, GIS,and Data Library staff from the Robarts Library to provide the UTM Community with timely and high quality geospatial and numeric data.

The UTM Library currently two GIS/Data workstations with a wide array of software including the ArcGIS, ArcView, ArcInfo Workstation, and MapInfo. Data packages include SPSS, Shazam, and Excel.

The GIS/Data workstations are available at all times that the library is open, and help is available with the software on most weekdays between 8:30-4:30pm. It is highly recommended that users needing assistance make an appointment in advance with the GIS Librarian. For an appointment, please call (905) 828-3886 or fill out the online form.
