Online Presence for Professionals and Academics
This session, led by Jonathan Turner and emerging technologies librarian Rochelle Mazar, will explore ways that graduate students, post-docs and faculty can create a professional and/or academic presence. We will discuss issues surrounding the distinction of personal and public, how to use social media and how to create a website. Participants will spend the majority of this workshop creating an online presence, and should come prepared with a copy of their CV and any other materials they feel they would like to post online.
