Instructional Technology Literacy: Part 1 and Part 2
Part 1 Abstract:
Learn about the affordances of various instructional technologies that are available to support teaching and learning activities at the University of Toronto Mississauga campus. During this workshop, participants will be provided with an opportunity to use various instructional technologies that can be employed to support student learning. Participants will develop reflective practice skills through hands on activities and discussion regarding the affordances and challenges of these various instructional technologies.
Part 2 Abstract:
Apply what you have learned about different instructional technologies to develop your own learning activity. Together we will apply and explore the stages and steps of the ADDIE instructional design model to gauge the effectiveness of the instructional technologies you are using and where improvements can be made. We will also focus on different ways to assess the impact of your learning activity to determine if those you are teaching have met intended targets.
