Dr. Heather Cox

Dr. Heather Cox is completing her Vascular Surgery training at the University of Toronto in conjunction with completing her MMI. She has previously completed an Honors Bachelor degree in Biotechnology from Carleton University and General Surgery at the University of Calgary.

Vascular surgery is a highly innovative field combining traditional open surgery techniques with newer endovascular techniques. The evolution of the profession is occurring at such a pace that there is a need for professionals with an understanding of both clinical practice and management.

Heather hopes to be instrumental in moving technology efficiently from the research bench to the patient's bedside.
