THEME -- Winter Wonderland at U of T Mississauga
A U of T Mississauga campus photo for the 2012 holiday card distributed by U of T Vice-President and U of T Mississauga Principal Deep Saini and the Office of Advancement. The card will feature a student photo with its theme “Winter Wonderland at U of T Mississauga.”

• 1st Place - $100 gift card to your choice of 1) Henry’s Camera Store OR 2) Campus Service – Bookstore, Food Services, etc., the use of your photo on Principal Deep Saini’s holiday card, bragging rights and a personally signed copy of Principal Saini’s holiday card featuring your photo.

ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open to all students currently enrolled at U of T Mississauga.
HOW TO ENTER
Deadline to enter: Friday, March 16, 2012 at midnight.
1) Go to: www.utm.utoronto.ca/student-photo-contest
2) Download and complete the digital entry form.
3) Email the entry form and your formatted image file(s) to news.utm@utoronto.ca with the subject line “Student Photo Contest” by midnight on Friday, March 16. Images should be formatted as JPEGs no larger than 1 MB.
HOW TO WIN
A panel of judges will select three final images based on the following criteria: originality, relevance to contest theme, composition, lighting and technical quality. The final three images will be posted on the official University of Toronto Mississauga Facebook page (www.facebook.com/UTMississauga) on Monday, March 26 to be voted on by the general public. The photo with the most “likes” by 9 a.m. on Friday, March 30, 2012 will be declared the winner. The winner will be notified by e-mail.
RULES & REGULATIONS
• Entries must be an original work taken by the student submitting the photo.
• Photos must be taken on the U of T Mississauga campus.
• Each student can submit up to a maximum of three photos. If more than three photos are submitted only the first three entries will be accepted.
• Colour or black and white photos are allowed. Digital photo editing is also permitted.
• Landscape and portrait layout are both acceptable.
• The winner will be required to provide a high-resolution version (maximum quality JPG, 8 inches on the longest side at 300 dpi) for printing. Failure to provide a high resolution version will disqualify the entry.
• Photo entries with visibly identifiable persons will be required to submit a model release form available on the photo contest website. Photos with visibly identifiable persons that are not accompanied by a model release will not be considered.
