Volunteer Recognition Award
The University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) recognizes and celebrates outstanding volunteerism in our community with the UTM Volunteer Recognition Award. Recipients of the Volunteer Recognition Award receive an official certificate from the university.
Student volunteers who meet the following criteria will receive the UTM Volunteer Recognition Award:
- Volunteer a minimum of 60 volunteer hours between April 1 – March 31 annually;
- Volunteer with either a University organized or affiliated initiative OR recognized student group/society initiative (a staff or faculty advisor is required as a validator);
- Log volunteer hours using the Volunteer Tracking System (VolTS).

Volunteer Recognition Award recipients will be notified in early April and will be invited to attend the Awards Ceremony & Reception on Wednesday, April 9, 2014.
