Student Alumni Ambassador Program
The Student Alumni Ambassador Program is a new initiative created in partnership with Alumni Relations in the Office of Advancement and student leaders that aims to connect students, alumni and external partners of the university.
Selected students will work along side the Alumni Relations Office and the Alumni Association throughout the academic year to play key roles in a variety of campus activities in alumni development and community outreach.
This is a volunteer-based program that provides students with opportunities for personal and professional development through:
- developing interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
- developing a wide range of professional skills such as team leadership, marketing, communications and event management
- acting as representatives of U of T Mississauga at campus events
- being a part of a diverse and motivated team
- working with students across campus
- social and academic networking opportunities with fellow students, alumni and community
- seeing how the university works from behind the scenes
- improving your employability - looks great on your résumé!
