Research Opportunity Program (ROP)

A wide range of Research Opportunity Programs (ROP) are available where students have an opportunity to become involved in original research supervised by a faculty member.  Students learn research methods and share in the excitement and discovery of acquiring new knowledge while earning a full course credit (SOC299Y5/399Y5).  Descriptions of the projects will be available on the web by mid-February each year.  Recent research projects have included Sentencing and Risk; Poverty and Immigration; Causes and Treatment of ADHD.
