Undergraduate Studies

The Department of Sociology offers five programs:  a Minor, Major and Specialist in Sociology and a Major and Specialist in Crime, Law and Deviance.  Sociologists study social structures and social processes.  These structures include:  the family; social class; race and ethnic relations; religious affiliation; the global system; the environment; criminal behaviour and the criminal justice system among many others.
