Everything you need to know about OSAP
OSAP is a need-based government student loan and grant program designed to help supplement the cost of postsecondary education. OSAP provides assistance to approximately 35%-40% of college and university students each year.
OSAP: How to apply
Summer 2013 Session
Students must register for a 60% course load (1.5 credits) for the summer term (May to August) to be eligible to apply for OSAP. Students with permanent disabilities qualify to apply by taking a 40% course load (1 credit for the full term). Students who received OSAP funding for the Winter 2013 session and who wish to apply for summer 2013 OSAP can access the application form and instructions online or pick up a paper summer OSAP application form from the Office of the Registrar during regular business hours.
New OSAP applicants must apply for summer funding at osap.gov.on.ca.
It is recommended that students apply for OSAP for the 2013 Summer Session by March 31 to ensure that funding is available when summer classes begin.
