I’m the senior Recruitment/Liaison Officer here at UTM. I’ve been on campus almost 10 years and I’ve loved every second of it! I chose U of T Mississauga for my studies because it offered me a world class U of T degree on a smaller scale; so I could enjoy a community feeling just like home. In addition to an amazing breadth of academic courses, I dove right in to a fantastic social life at U of T Mississauga. I was a Frosh Leader for 4 years and I was one of the co-founders of the UTM Dance Team. When I’m not on the road (usually in the Kitchener/Waterloo/Guelph area) I spend my time enjoying some of my favourite things like yoga, dance, sandwiches (I love burritos), and party planning for my friends and family! I may have the nickname ‘Hostess with the Mostest’. I’m so excited that you’re considering U of T Mississauga as an option for post-secondary studies, and for your future. It was the best decision that I ever made for myself!

My name is Lindsay and I have been working with the University of Toronto Mississauga for almost 4 years. Before joining the University of Toronto, I attended Brock University and lived in St. Catharines.  I became very involved in university life and had great opportunities to work on campus, just like you would here at UTM.  My experience at Brock lead me down my career path in university administration and helped me get to where I am today.  I love being a part of the recruitment team, making a triumphant return to this fabulous office this past October. If you are searching for me on campus, you can probably find me either in line at one of our Tim Horton locations or at our fabulous state of the art gym facility. Spin is my workout of choice so feel free to join me for a class, if you dare! Being Italian, cooking and baking have been engrained in me, both have been a part of my life since I was small. Although I can whip up a lasagna, my passion is baking.  I can make everything from cakes to cookies; if you are lucky when you come to visit us, you’ll find some cute cupcakes or homemade Italian biscotti in our office. Whenever I can, I am planning a trip somewhere around the world. I have been lucky to have visited many different countries throughout Europe and am excited as I am planning a trip to Italy this summer. For those of you from the Hamilton/Niagara region, keep your eyes open as you will find me in the area this coming September!

Hello World! I am one of the Recruitment/Liaison Officers at UTM. I graduated from high school in 2005 still unaware of what and where I wanted to study. I applied to three universities, all of which were local. I knew I wanted to come home at the end of the day to a home cooked meal and my own bed to sleep in. So, UTM it was. I really appreciated the flexibility of studying diverse programs and gaining a plethora of knowledge. After four years, three programs, and a set of great friends, I can truly say that I was content with my experience at UTM – so content that I never left. I now recruit for the largest university in Canada! My journey began as a work-study student at the Office of the Registrar in my fourth year. I stuck around after graduating, and two years later, my perseverance paid off. I became a permanent Recruitment/Liaison Officer. I can honestly say that I love my job. Aside from the actual work I do – which is advising students like you – I get to travel to many places that I wouldn’t otherwise visit. 2011 was all about Oakville to St. Catharines and Quebec. Mississauga, Brampton, and Etobicoke: I’ll see more of you this year!
