2018-2019 Permit Presale Information

  • Permits are available to UTM students, staff and faculty only.

  • Permits are sold on a first come, first served basis, as quantities are limited. Permits will not be held.

  • Parking on campus is limited and permit availability is not guaranteed.

  • Lost or Stolen permits will not be replaced, regardless of circumstances.

St.George and Scarborough students are not eligible for UTM parking permits.

 

Effective September 1, 2018, all "Unreserved" permits will include access to parking lots P4, P8 and P9.

 

There will no longer be a differentiation between "Unreserved" and "Premium Unreserved". These permit types have been amalgamated into one permit type called "Unreserved" and are valid to park in P4, P8 and P9.

Permits purchased either Online or In-person: Will be sent to your department mid-August by Campus Mail (unless otherwise requested)

VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Monthly Payroll Deductions (if eligible)

Debit, VISA, MasterCard and American Express (please note, credit cards must be in the purchaser's name) OR certified cheques and money orders payable to 'University of Toronto'

Online Permit Pickup Location: Parking Office, Alumni House, Room 108. (TCard plus 1 piece of government issued photo ID required)

Important Information

Full-time appointed staff and faculty are encouraged to purchase an annual parking permit with the option of paying via monthly payroll deductions or in full. Pro-rated cancellation policies are available.

Contract and casual staff may also purchase an annual parking permit, but payment must be made in full.

Important Information

UTM Students may purchase one (1) permit, with the option to purchase a Sheridan supplementary permit (if needed).

  • Duplicate permit purchases are prohibited.
  • Multiple permit purchases will be cancelled.
  • Any misuse of permits or multiple purchases will automatically be cancelled.

If you are unable to purchase a permit in-person, please arrange with a third party (parent, sibling, friend etc.) to do so on your behalf. 

The third party individual must submit:

  1. A permit application form signed and dated by you
  2. A third party authorization form signed and dated by you

Purchases completed  by a 3rd party must be made in person at the parking office.

Limit of one (1) permit purchase will be accepted per 3rd party purchaser. Permits will be held at the parking office to be picked up by the registered applicant and eligibility verified starting on Monday August 27, 2018.

Note: If you are a UTM student purchasing a permit for another UTM student, you may purchase your own plus one (1). 

The additional permit will be held at the Parking Office to be picked up by the absent UTM student and eligibility verified starting on Monday August 27th, 2018.

Do not use your UTORid to login into the Online purchasing system to purchase a permit for a friend. The Permit will not be released and the application/permit will be cancelled. 

Before you apply online:

All UTM Students: To access the online system, students MUST be enrolled in at least one UTM course in the Fall term.

First Year Students; please ensure you attain your TCard and activate your UTORid in advance of the presale for verification.

Your UTORid may take up to 48 hours to update in the system. We advise students complete this process at least 3 days in advance of the presale date.

 

Permit Pickup Information:

Online permit pickup starts:

Monday August 27, 2018  @ 8:00 am

  1. Student #/UTOR credentials used to purchase a permit online MUST match the information provided at the time of pickup

  2. If the student #/UTOR credentials do not match, the parking permit will not be released and the permit order will be cancelled. No exceptions.

  3. You must have your TCard and a second piece of government issued Photo ID (i.e. Driver’s license, Health Card, Passport) is requiredupon pickup

  4. Third Party pickups will not be accepted. We will not accept third party authorization forms for pick-up.

As an environment friendly campus, we encourage individuals to use alternative means of transportation whenever possible. Additionally, parking on campus is limited and not guaranteed during peak hours. Parking permit availability is not guaranteed.
