General Information
The MBiotech Program admits students once a year for a May start date. Applications are usually accepted from mid September to early January. For May 2013 entry, the application cycle is set to open on September 21, 2012 and the deadline to apply is January 11, 2013 (includes the payment of the application fee and submission of all supporting documents). The first day of classes is Tuesday, May 21, 2013.
MBiotech (Master of Biotechnology, University of Toronto Mississauga) is a 24 month course-based professional graduate degree program that combines both science and business courses with 8 to 12 months of paid work experience through internships in the biotechnology, medical device and biopharmaceutical industry. The faculty is drawn from Biology, Chemistry and Management and makes frequent use of guest speakers from industry, government and academia.

Holiday Closure
Applicants: The University of Toronto Mississauga will be closed from December 24, 2012 to January 6, 2013 for the annual holiday break. The Graduate Admissions Application WILL be available during this time. You may complete applications and submit documents. However, staff in MBiotech will not be available to answer enquiries until the week of January 6th.
