Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS)
OGS recognizes academic excellence in graduate studies and carries a value of $5000 per term. Thus, awardees may receive $15,000 for three consecutive terms. For complete information about OGS including eligibility criteria and documentation required, please see the SGS website
The deadline for MBiotech applicants and students to apply for OGS is Friday, February 15, 2013.

Merck Graduate Scholarship in Biosciences and Biotechnology
Awarded to an incoming student admitted to MBiotech, based on academic merit. No application is necessary. All newly admitted students are automatically considered. Value: TBA (approx $2000).
Amgen Canada Fellowship in Biotechnology
To be awarded to a student enrolled in the Master of Biotechnology Program (first or second year) on the basis of academic merit and on the consideration of three letters of reference. Financial need will also be considered. To be awarded starting in the 2012/2013 academic year. Returning students should apply for this by May 1, 2013, through the MBiotech offices. Value: TBA (approx $1500).
SGS University-Wide Awards
Through the generous support of numerous donors, a number of endowed awards have been established at the School of Graduate Studies. This year, more than 15 awards with various eligibility criteria and values are offered. Deadlines are usually in May.
