Ready for University Math?

Welcome to all of our incoming students!

We know many students worry about their mathematical skills.  We also know mathematical skills are important in helping students with skills in their other courses.

If you work  with us, we are able to help you start your first year courses feeling confident that you have a strong foundation. You can use the precaculus videos, you can make use of a free on-line tool (after registration) and you can use your school material or the first year text books.

MyLabsPlus will help you with finding your strengths or weaknesses in the following areas:

* Basic Algebra
* Functions and Graphs
* Exponential and Logarithmic Functions
* Trigonometric Functions (Not for MAT133Y5)
After taking short tests in those areas, MyLabsPlus will provide you with refresher modules, created by one of our profs, to help you strengthen that area if needed.

When will you be able to login to the MyLabsPlus?

After you have enrolled in one of MAT133Y5, MAT134Y5, MAT135Y5 or MAT137Y5.

• most of you will already have access.
• for those who do not because they enrolled after July 27, logins should become available the Monday after enrolling.

Where do you find the details of your MyLabsPlus login?

From the University of Toronto BlackBoard portal. Using your UTORid and password, login to the University of Toronto BlackBoard portal, and click on "My Page", then "UTM Calculus Readiness Assessment" (under My Organizations Plus). (Note. The position of My Organizations Plus varies but you will find it in one of the three columns).
