Ready for University Math?

Welcome to all of our incoming students!

We know many students worry about their mathematical skills.  We also know mathematical skills are important in helping students with skills in their other courses. Here are something to help you assess/improve yourself with.

The free on-line tool

MyLabsPlus will help you with finding your strengths or weaknesses in the following areas:

* Basic Algebra
* Functions and Graphs
* Exponential and Logarithmic Functions
* Trigonometric Functions (Not for MAT133Y5)
After taking short tests in those areas, MyLabsPlus will provide you with refresher modules, created by one of our profs, to help you strengthen that area if needed.

When will you be able to login to the MyLabsPlus?

If you have enrolled in one of MAT133Y5, MAT134Y5, MAT135Y5 or MAT137Y5, you will be able to login after August 15th.

  • for those who do not because they enrolled after August 15th, logins should become available the Monday after enrolling.

Go to (you may be required to enter your UTORid and Password).

Follow the direction in the following CRA 2015 information document

Important Note

The MyLabsPlus tool is designed to help you measure your knowledge of pre-calculus high school math, the background knowledge you need for success in calculus courses at UofT Mississauga. The results of the minitests in the modules are solely for your information, for you to use in deciding whether you need to focus attention on an area. The results *will not* affect your admission to any UofT Mississauga program.
