U of T Mississauga Golf Classic attracts largest turn-out ever

Despite the overcast day and a few tentative sprinkles, enthusiasm and high spirits ruled the greens at the annual U of T Mississauga Golf Classic on Thursday, May 12 at Lionhead Golf & Country Club in Brampton.

Over 100 golfers - alumni, faculty, staff and community supporters - took to the links to putt, drive and slice their way to the largest and best-attended golf tournament in the campus' history.

Krull honoured with Paul W. Fox Award

Weightlifting team triumphs at provincial competition

University of Toronto Mississauga's weightlifting team recently earned the top post-secondary team honour - the Craig Williamson Memorial Award - at the Ontario Scholastics competition in North Bay on April 2, 2011.

Student athletes Jae Yun, Mathew Morgan, Rex Liu, Brett Payne, Fahim Rahman and Richard Gonsalves represented U of T Mississauga, bringing home one gold, two silver and a bronze.
