Summer Abroad
Summer Abroad programs are designed to enrich students’ academic lives by providing an exciting and memorable international experience.
The program runs during the summer semester is is taught by either a U of T professor and/or professors from abroad. These specially designed courses can provide you with ample amount of time to travel and experience the lifestyle and culture of the host country. The program offers relatively small class sizes (under 25 students) giving you the chance to interact closely with professors and peers. Courses are taught in English with the exception of language courses.
Each Summer Abroad program is 3, 4, 5, or 6 weeks in length and each has one or more course credits associated with it. Upon successful completion of a program, you will receive a full-year credit. Since these are U of T courses, the grades show on your transcript and are used to calculate your GPA.
Minimum Requirements:
- All students must meet the U of T admission requirements
- First year students with no final grade yet may apply, but are not eligible for all programs
- Students under suspension and probation are not eligible
