Peer Health Education

The Peer Health Education program exists within the UTM Health & Counselling Centre to promote the overall health and wellness of the UTM community by increasing knowledge of a variety of issues relevant to the student population.
Peer Health Educators work with the HCC's Health Promotion staff to provide educational opportunities that both educate and empower students to make healthier choices in order that they be successful in their academic goals and future endeavours.
The Peer Health Education Program focuses education in the following areas related to student health and wellness:

- Nutrition

- Drugs & Alcohol
- Active Living (MoveU)
- Sexual Health & Relationships
