Recall of Alysena 28 Birth Control Pills:
A recall of the Alysna 28 birth control pills (Lot LF01899A) has recently been made due to a packaging error in which only 14 days of active contraceptive tablets were provided instead of the prescribed 21 days. Women who use this product are encourage to speak with their doctors.
This is *not* a product distributed through the UTM HCC but students are welcome to make an appointment with one of our health professionals if they are concerned.
Change to Extended Hours:
The last day of extended evening hours for this term will be Wednesday, April 24th. Extended hours will resume again in the Fall. To view the full schedule, please visit our Hours of Operation page.
International Student Health Insurance:
The University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) has made changes to how international students receive their health card. Beginning September 1st, students will be able to access their cards online. Details about this new process are available on the Centre for International Experience's (CIE) UHIP webpage.
