Limited Term Lecturer in Physical Geography
The Department of Geography invites applications from qualified candidates for a one-year Limited Term Lecturer in physical geography. The appointment will be at the rank of Lecturer and will commence August 1, 2013 and end July 31, 2014.
Candidates with a PhD are strongly preferred, but ABDs may also be considered, with a doctorate completed or in progress in an area of physical geography with a focus on geomorphology, climatology or a related field. Previous experience in teaching physical geography at the undergraduate level is essential, and evidence of commitment to teaching and strong teaching performance must be supplied. The successful candidate will be expected to teach the equivalent of three full courses (six semester long courses) at the undergraduate level.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The start date is August 1, 2013. The deadline for applications is May 30, 2013.
