SOC480 Application Instructions
The 2013 Deadline to Return Applications is February 28, 2013.
Please review the Course Description and Course Format and Assessment prior to applying. This course is a great opportunity to apply your academic skills and background in a practical setting, and gain 1.0 academic credit at the same time. To be eligible, you need the following to apply:
- CGPA: 2.5,
- Fourth year standing (14.0 credits), Graduating in June or November 2014
- Permission of Instructor (P.I.) - You do not need to request this. For this course, P.I. is dependent on the eligibility of your application.
- Specialists in Sociology and Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies will be given priority.
- Will not be taking more than 5.0 credits including this course between September 2013 and April 2014
- Will have 1 weekday free in both terms (can be different day in each term if necessary)
- An interview may be required.
Deadline: February 28, 2013 by 5:00pm

- Specify Type of Experience: Please include volunteer experience under Experience (indicate that this was volunteer).
- Don’t forget to use your utoronto email address on your resume and in your correspondence with professors, the Experiential Education Department and with potential internship supervisors

- File Format: Microsoft Word 97 – 2003 or Rich Text Format. IF you are using the newest version of Word, please save your file as an older version of Word - DOC (NOT a docx).
