Research/Project Courses
Many departments offer senior project or thesis courses - these students concentrate on one area of research under a faculty supervisor. The Research Opportunity Program (ROP) gives students from 2nd to 4th year a chance to participate in the research of a faculty member (and sometimes a community member) while earning course credit.
Enhancing the undergraduate experience

- For faculty mentors: highly motivated students contribute to their research programs
- For students: A chance to focus research interests, prepare for graduate school, and have close contact with researchers in their field of interest
To learn more about the courses offered by the Research Opportunity Program, refer to their website.
