Numerous courses at UTM provide students with experiential learning opportunities. These can include vigorous debates and class discussions, case studies, group projects, practical laboratories and other practical hands-on activities.

Many courses offered at UTM provide students with the opportunity to develop a variety of skills. Students may gain in-class experience through courses that include case studies, debates, computer labs, science labs, practicals, seminars, practical hands-on activities, studio work, etc.
