Sarah Robayo Sheridan
Sarah Robayo Sheridan is director of exhibitions and publications at Mercer Union, A Centre for Contemporary Art, Toronto. She holds an MA in Curatorial Practice from the California College of the Arts, San Francisco, where she completed research on the visual culture of sleep. In 2009, she was nominated for the Young Curators Invitational, Ricard Foundation, Paris. In 2010, she served as one of the commissioning curators for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche. Her writing has appeared in arts magazines, anthologies and artists' monographs and she was recently awarded a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts to write a history of John Cage's "Reunion," performed in Toronto in 1968.
