Jillian Booth
After graduating from Queen’s University Fine Art Department where Jillian Booth received a scholarship to work at Open Studio in Toronto she was on a trajectory for making prints. Her first job as a Print Technician was at the Glasgow School of Art when she was living in Scotland during the 90’s. Jillian received an MA in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts (The London Institute, London, England) toward the end of her time in Britain.
Before her current position as Print Media Technologist at Sheridan Institute she had revisited Queen’s University and was their printmaking tech between 1999 and 2001. Since 2004 Jillian has been at Sheridan and continues to make prints combining different processes within the printmaking medium.
