Office of the Vice-Principal Academic and Dean
A Welcome from Amy Mullin, Vice-Principal Academic and Dean
The University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) is equally devoted to teaching and research, and we are very proud of the strength of our undergraduate and graduate students. At the undergraduate level, we have 16 departments and institutes and offer a wide range of programs in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences, while at the graduate level we offer professional masters programs and host graduate students admitted to our tri-campus graduate programs. As part of the University of Toronto, we are one of the world's leading research-intensive universities, but the smaller size of our campus helps us sustain an intimate and welcoming environment, and fosters connections among students and faculty from widely varying academic programs.
Our campus is proud of its commitment to steward our outstanding natural setting and serves as a green research and teaching facility. UTM maintains close ties with the City of Mississauga, one of Canada's most diverse and vital communities, and both contributes to and benefits from engagement with its commerce, social services, and civic life. This partnering with our community significantly enhances the experiential and service learning opportunities we offer our students.
The University of Toronto Mississauga draws upon its stellar faculty, staff, and facilities in order to educate future leaders in business, the arts, and a range of professions for the Greater Toronto area, Canada and the world.
Amy Mullin,
Vice-Principal Academic and Dean
