On behalf of the University of Toronto Mississauga, the Department of Chemical & Physical Sciences and the Erindale Chemical and Physical Sciences Society, we would like to thank all of those that participated in the 43rd Southern Ontario Undergraduate Student Chemistry Conference (SOUSCC), which was held on Saturday March 21, 2015. For the past 43 years, SOUSCC has provided undergraduate research students with the opportunity to present their research findings to a wide audience of university faculty, students and practitioners from government and industrial research laboratories.

These four applicants (undergrad students), Paul Devenish, Rabiya Noori, Samantha Tabone and Victoria Vuong were chosen to represent CPS at the upcoming NBTC’15 (National Business and Technology Conference) on March 27-29, 2015 to be held at The Toronto Board of Toronto, ON.

Premier Wynne Visits UTM Chemistry Undergrad Teaching Lab

As part of the UTM campus tour, Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne visited CPS first year Chemistry undergrad teaching lab and participated in a lab demonstration led by teaching assistant George Li.
