An innovative joint program at U of T Mississauga is giving fourth-year science students a chance to see what lab life beyond graduation might be like. Atmospheric Professor Kent Moore and his graduate student Marc De Benedetti (back row on the right) gave a talk to the grade 10 science students at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Secondary school in January 2016, as a conclusion to their climate unit for the course. The focus of the talk was to show students what it meant to study climate change; that we "don't just wear white lab coats", as one student put it. Prof.

CPS Dodge ball Game

The first ever CPS (Department of Chemical & Physical Sciences, UTM) Dodge ball game was held over lunch on Monday, November 30th. It was a courageous battle between the Faculty (Josh, Marc and Shawn) and select student members of the Gunning Lab. They were gracious enough to loan a couple of bodies to the faculty side to even things up. In a gutty performance, team faculty won by the narrowest of margins! Fun was had by all……………despite the head shots!
