Leslie Gladstone Cook Memorial Fellowship

Value:

One award of approximately $5000.00

Conditions:

To be awarded to graduate students in the Department of Chemistry on the basis of financial need.  Academic merit will also be considered.
(a) Awarded to incoming graduate students travelling from other parts of Canada to Toronto, or
(b) Awarded to graduate students to attend special conferences in their field of graduate studies, or
(c) Awarded as stipend support for graduate students in financial need.

Application:

To the Graduate Office, Department of Chemistry. Students applying for consideration under conference provision submit conference abstract, short statement (not to exceed one page) outlining importance of the research paper/poster to be presented, and completed Financial Need Assessment form. Students applying under the stipend provision submit short statement (not to exceed one page) outlining financial need and completed Financial Need Assessment form.


Robert and Jean Hadgraft Graduate Fellowship in Chemistry

Value:

Two awards of approximately $2000.00

Conditions:

To be awarded, on the basis of financial need, to one or more graduate students in the Department of Chemistry.  Academic merit will also be considered.

Application:

To the Graduate Office, Department of Chemistry. Submit statement of the basis of academic merit and completed Financial Need Assessment form.


Relocation Assistance Award

Value:

Multiple awardees of approximately $300-$400 (Total Value $1000)

Conditions:

To be awarded on the basis of financial need to new graduates to help offset expenses incurred in relocating to Toronto from elsewhere in Ontario. Academic merit may also be considered.

To the Graduate Office, Department of Chemistry. Submit statement of the basis of academic merit and completed Financial Need Assessment form.


Edwin Walter Warren Graduate Student Awards

Value:

Two awards of approximately $2000.00

Conditions:

To be awarded to one or more graduate students on the basis of financial need. Academic merit will also be considered.

Dalton Pharma Services Advanced Inorganic and Materials Laboratory Fellowship

Value:

One award of $500

Conditions:

To be awarded annually to a teaching fellow in CHM438 Advanced Inorganic and Materials, enrolled in the graduate program in the Department of Chemistry. Preference to be given to students of merit. Award will be included in the funding package.

Application:

To the Graduate Office, Department of Chemistry. Submit completed Financial Need Assessment form.
