Application Procedure
Early admission deadline
- An Early Admission application makes the applicants eligible for nomination for supplemental fellowships and entrance scholarships, which are awarded to the most highly qualified applicants to the Department.
For 2012-2013
- The Department will begin accepting applications for admission in September 2012 and January 2013 on October 15, 2011.
- Deadline for early admission in September 2012 and January 2013 is February 1, 2012

Regular Admission Deadline
Domestic applicants - no later than April 30
International applicants - no later than March 31
Applications are reviewed on a rolling-basis. You are strongly encouraged to forward applications ASAP and not to delay until the deadline.
Domestic students who wish to be considered for the off-cycle admission after the deadline (ie. after April 30) should contact the Graduate Office. Please note that placements will be limited at this point.
All application materials (including TOEFL with TWE and GRE score reports, where applicable) must be submitted to the Chemistry Graduate Office.
These deadlines apply to applicants seeking admission for sessions commencing September or January.

There is no application fee for domestic applicants (i.e. permanent residents and Canadian citizens).
