Finding Work: CV and Cover Letter
For Masters, Doctoral or Post Doc students only
Learn how to format and organize your CV and cover letter to market yourself for academic, research or post-doctoral positions.
After completing this workshop you will be able to:
- identify the differences between a CV and a resume
- identify the different sections of a CV and cover letter
- link your skills, experience, and activities to the academic job posting of interest and articulate them in your CV and cover letter
Students can use this session towards the Graduate Professional Skills Program (GPS).
PLEASE NOTE: to obtain GPS credit, you must attend ALL THREE "Finding Work" workshops in May.
