Finding Work: Academic Work Search - What YOU Need to Know

For Masters, Doctoral or Post Doc students only

Learn the strategies and techniques to incorporate into an effective academic work search.

This session will cover different topics including:

  • Articulating key strategies for finding academic work
  • The components of an academic application
  • Identifying how to prepare for the academic work search process

This session will also feature some guest speakers offering insight into their experiences:

  • Tim Duval, Assistant Professor, Geography
  • Bryan Stewart, Associate Professor/Chair of Biology

Students can use this session towards the Graduate Professional Skills Program (GPS).

PLEASE NOTE: to obtain GPS credit, you must attend ALL THREE "Finding Work" workshops in May.

There is no dress code for this event.
