C3 Biology Professional Development Certificate Program

(Community Connection Career)

This program is open to any undergraduate student enrolled in a major or specialist program in Biology.  To receive a Professional Development Program in Biology Certificate, students must choose 5 full modules from 4 different clusters, which include career development and professional development sessions (many of which are listed below).

Career Exploration Programs

Extern Program

Explore a career by visiting with professionals in the workplace during Reading Week. Placements range from an opportunity to conduct an information interview to one to two day visits. Extern participants may have the opportunity to shadow their sponsor and other staff members in their daily work activities; may tour the sponsor's establishment and facilities; and may meet with a number of staff to discuss the career and industry.
