The Paul W. Fox Award
The Paul W. Fox Award was established in 1980 to recognize distinguished voluntary service to University of Toronto Mississauga by a member of the community. Named in recognition of the former principal of U of T Mississauga (1976-1986), the award acknowledges the dedication and service to U of T Mississauga that was exemplified by Professor Fox during his term as principal:
- Contribution to quality of life at U of T Mississauga, through support of its many programs, activities, and events
- Active enrichment of U of T Mississauga's image in the community at large
- Dedication in voluntary service, whether recent or long-standing
The selection will be made by a committee composed of U of T Mississauga alumni.

The nomination statement should include:
- Name, address and telephone number of the nominee
- Statement outlining contribution to U of T Mississauga
- Name, address and telephone number of the nominator
- Date
The selection committee encourages all members of the campus and community to consider whom among their peers and associates may be a worthy recipient of this award, recognizing commitment and dedication to improving campus life.
Members of the community, associates of U of T Mississauga, alumni, and former faculty and staff are eligible for the award. Current students are not.

Presentation of the Award
The award is presented by the UTMAA at the UTMAA Annual General Meeting. The manager, alumni development will advise the recipient and the nominator and invite them to attend the reception.
