Standard Assessment of Information Literacy Skills (SAILS)
Your library, the Hazel McCallion Academic Learning Centre (HMALC), wants to know what you know!
SAILS, also known as the Standard Assessment of Information Literacy Skills, is an online survey designed to collect information about the library research skills you possess as you begin your university career. Librarians at the HMALC combine your survey responses with those of your peers and use them to help develop instructional programs for your benefit. These opportunities are offered throughout the year on a variety of topics and focus on developing the types of research strategies that will make you more likely to succeed in your academic goals.
The SAILS survey takes between 35-40 minutes to complete. Upon completing the survey you will be entered into a draw to win one of six iShuffles or an iPod Nano.
